My own perception would be that it is stupid, and shrewd to get a tattoo . Its more likely to make you look rash and impulsive, than cool. There is a trend to get a tattoo, simply to get a tattoo or because its cool. People often have no further rationale than that. In itself, this lack of conviction demonstrates how whimsical they are to destroy their body simply to distinguish themselves from other people. Frankly, it has become such a common trend I find it to be more distinguishing to not have any tattoos or piercings I like my body as it is, personally, I find both practices often make it look sleazy. Though there are exceptions, sometimes tattoos work for certain people, but they are scarce cases It depends really upon who is getting a tattoo and why. Mike Tysons tattoo actually worked out well for him. The Rocks as well, but they work in show business and given their roles, it makes sense in the context. Street gangs, prison tattoos, military tattoos these can make a lot of sense in their context as well, but most people getting them today dont fall under any of these categories.
