I have a Tadiran made AC from the 90's. When it operate on cooling, the compressor is silent and runs smoothly. But when it operate at heating, and the fan is either at low speed or off, Why there is such a difference in the running noise of the compressor, when the AC runs on heating compared to cooling? Why the compressor is loudly, creaky moaning so much at heating, and run silently and smoothly at cooling???
