Egged have ordered lots of Mercedes- Benz OC500LE. Regardless of who in Israel assembled it (Merkavim and Haargaz) this bus is crap because: 1. It is a low entry bus (The floor is high at the rear of the bus). 2. It is very dangerous to stand on the stairs or the high floor when the bus is moving. 3. It is very hard to save your balance at the rest part of the floor, compared to other buses like BYD and Scania, which also have this problem, but to less extent.
