I'm not religious, but i went to a Christian camp to bond with friends recently and one of the pastors had LGBTQ questions to answer in a Q&A session. I don't remember the details because i zoned out, but I think they said something along the lines of how it's a sin based on several bible passages that they read out, and that the Christian perspective of being gay is that it, like all sin, is a choice, in the sense that you choose to be gay. Not saying i agree with this, I'm not religious and my thoughts on the above is a huge mixxed bag, but I'm relaying information based on the insight I got from the camp...Edit: based on the comments that I've seen in this post, there are sure as hell a lot of self-proclaimed Christians that aren't actually Christian and just twist and weaponize certain parts of the bible or something along those lines that are in you peeps' lives.
