@genius They didn't make it public knowledge when they would be escorting him through the airport, so they didn't think to look for the dad, but a journalist managed to get the info and tipped him off, so he showed up right before the scheduled time and pretended to be using one of the public telephones with his back turned so nobody would recognize him.
